2010 Annual Schedule and Re-Registration

This time of the year, athletes are usually very busy doing two things:  Reflecting and Planning.

Reflecting on the past year with all it's athletic highlights and memorable moments as well as those races or periods of time that may have been more challenging than expected.  I hope that when thinking back on the year, it only brings you pleasant memories.

Planning for the upcoming year can be a very exciting proposition, with all the events and activities that await a healthy and fit endurance athlete.

I promote choosing a theme for your year and then adding in the trainings and races that support your theme.  The goals that you set are the most powerful psychological tools that you can posses.

Our team will be embarking on it's 17th year of operation and we hope that you find the athletes, the trainings and the special events meet your standards and exceed your expectations.  I am completely biased but I believe you are a part of one of the most unique and meaningful groups of people around.

From my experience I am certain that some of the individuals you interact with on the team will end up being your friends for life, regardless of where the upcoming years and decades take you.  The bonds formed on this team and in this sport are lasting.

2010 is shaping up to be another great year for our team.  Hani, Jake, Mike and I are planning and scheming ways to continue to keep the team fresh, vital and valuable to all our athletes.  We will continue to follow some of true and tested traditional forms of training, while tweaking other things here and there with the goal of a positive training effect and a creating a memorable experience.

The following information contains two parts.  Part one is related to our 2010 Annual Team Schedule of Events.  Section two is related to Re-registration for the team in the upcoming year.

There has been a slight increase in fees for 2010 amounting to 5%.  The increase was inevitable, but as a business we are proud of the fact that this is our first increase in nearly 10 years.  As a gesture to our long term committed athletes we are offering an annual team membership at a significant savings.  Please review the rates at the bottom of this message for specific prices and actions.

Replenish your energy in the next few weeks or longer if necessary. Refresh your outlook on exercise and our sport.  Cherish your time with family  and close friends during the holidays.  Return in the New Year with a healthy, balanced perspective on how you fit into the team and into our sport.

Now, let's eat donuts!
